About Us
ABOUT SAVE THE CHILDREN
Save the Children believes every child deserves a future.
In Canada and around the world, we do whatever it takes – every day and in times of crisis – so children can fulfill their rights to a healthy start in life, the opportunity to learn, and protection from harm.
We help ensure children’s unique needs are met and their voices are heard. Working in over 110 countries, and together with children, families, communities, and partners, we help millions of children to survive and thrive.
Donate Now to Support Our WorkLAND ACKNOWLEDGEMENT
We acknowledge that Save the Children Canada’s office in North York sits on the traditional territory of many Nations, including the Wendat, Haudenosaunee, Anishinaabeg, and the Mississaugas of the Credit, and is covered by Treaty 13 and the Dish With One Spoon Wampum, a peace agreement between Indigenous Nations.
We recognize Indigenous Peoples as the original stewards of these lands, and that treaties are ongoing agreements that require recognition and responsibility. This acknowledgement is part of our responsibility to understand the lasting impacts of colonization and to uphold our obligations through listening, learning, and meaningful action.
