Surviving is just the beginning for children affected by the conflict in Ukraine. Thousands are still being forced underground to bunkers while violence and shelling continue. Persistent air strikes and explosions are destroying buildings, killing and injuring children, and making it harder to access essential healthcare and education. The war has taken over their lives.

Send a Message of Hope in Solidarity

Our teams are on the ground in Ukraine, and in neighbouring countries like Poland, Romania and Lithuania. We are working right across Europe to help children and families who have been affected by this crisis, wherever they are.

You can help let children in Ukraine know they are seen, valued and not forgotten: people in Canada and around the world think about them and care about them having a happy future. Will you send a message of support and help spread hope to children affected by the ongoing conflict today?

How it works:

  • Write a message to children in Ukraine to show we stand with them and that they are not forgotten.
  • Send messages will be translated and our teams on the ground will deliver letters to the children we are supporting.
  • Deliver you can help us give children in Ukraine a reason to smile and hope today.

To help get you started, here’s an example of the sort of message you may wish to send:

To all the children affected by the conflict in Ukraine,

Please know that people in Canada and around the world are thinking of you, and care about your safety and your future.

I can only try to imagine how hard it must be for you right now.

I am thinking of you and remain hopeful that things will get better. Please don’t forget your hopes and dreams. I am standing with you and all the other children in Ukraine and around the world.

We will also feature some of the messages on our website and social media channels to inspire others to spread hope too.
