All of our work, programming, advocacy and campaigning is rooted in the fundamental belief that every last child has the right to survive, learn and be protected. Though it’s been more than 100 years since our founding in 1919, our pioneering spirit to stand up for every last child has not faltered. Every day, we’re standing up and speaking out wherever children are in crisis.

From living trapped in conflict, to fleeing for their lives as refugees, or seeking shelter from climate-induced disasters, millions of children across the globe today are facing extreme fear, uncertainty, discrimination and denial of their most basic rights.

Through all of the complexities of these different crises, one thing is clear and simple: we can and must do more to protect children and stand up for their rights.
